Trace metal geochemistry and hydrothermal alteration of three molybdenum-bearing stocks, Gunnison and Pitkin Counties, Colorado
Abstract
decrease with depth.Correlation coefficients .calculatedusing samples from all three stocks show negative correlation between copper and molybdenum, zinc and molybdenum, and a slight (statistically insignificant) negative correlation between .lead and molybdenum.Data from this study along .withdata frpm major stockwork molybdenum .depositsare presented diagrammatically in an attempt to show vertical and lateral changes. in alteration and approximate 2:.onal distribution of mineralization associated with a molybdenum-bearing intrusive system.'
