Please also see the document, “Library-Spring 2018 Proposed Budget.” | am proposing the Gunnison Sustainable Living Library project is funded with $2587.12 for the Spring 2018 semester. THINGS YOU WILL NOTICE IN THE BUDGET - Ayodeji Oluwafana: pending approval of course, Ayodeji could help me this semester coordinating with Western for presenting the Library website at the Spring Symposium as well as contacting local experts to write introductions to the library categories. | am proposing 15 hours at $20/hour for a total of $300. We can discuss this. | know Ayodeji is willing to help with probably as many hours as we can give him. | believe he is currently renewing his work permit, | am not sure what that means for him. -Paragon Web Services: This is a significant sum. Alysia has already worked 4 hours (at a rate of $80/hour) for a total of $360 (which she has not yet billed us for). | should have asked for approval before contacting her, but | reached out to her with a question and the next time we talked, she had already put 4 hours in. The work she is doing is very important to the success of our website and it is way above my web developing skills. This improvement to the website was requested multiple times in the survey of usefulness of the website that Ayodeji conducted over the summer. Alysia is making it so that all of the text in the documents is recognizable by the search engine within the website as well as to Google and other external search engines. For example, the document entitled “The Moly News” would not show up as a search result for searches for
