Summary

« Mission as given by Bruce Driver: Promote investment in local energy and renewable resources in the Gunnison Valley through actions of the GCEA. o Various members want to include language: dependable, reliable, “to help GCEA meet goals of...”, negawatts, model green coop, cost-effectiveness, clean, local resources, education * Our relation to CROP/ORE o Participate in ORE’s January forum oO Meet with Gesa at next meeting so group can lean what ORE is doing and where we could fit in. o ACE will act as advocates while ORE will carry out implementation of programs (this came from Brittney’s meeting with Gesa & Allison) o George Sibley discussed ORE’s work in the valley to give group some idea of existing programs (CROP) = Valley-wide energy plan o It was discussed whether the group should focus on the entire valley or just GCEA which would exclude Gunnison. It was determined, for now, that the group will focus only on GCEA and working with it. o Working with the Board of County Commissioners was also discussed. = Follow up with GCEA o It was decided that some group members will attend the September GCEA
