RMBL NHD Streams
Description
The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) represents the water drainage network of the United States with features such as rivers, streams, canals, lakes, ponds, coastline, dams, and stream gages. This data was downloaded directly from the usgs.gov National Map downloader site. The data was then clipped to Gunnison County boundary by RMBL GIS. The most current version of the National Hydrography Dataset, the NHD High Resolution, is mapped at a scale of 1:24,000 scale or better (1:63,360 or better in Alaska). The download link goes to the shapefile data format, though this data is available for download off the ArcGIS Online site as a KML, File Geodatabase, and GeoJson file types.
