High Acidity Levels Found In Mountain Lakes

Rain and snow with acidity almost as strong as raw vinegar have been detected in some high Colorado mountain lakes, scientists report. Dr. John Harte, a biologist with the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, said measurements taken over the past year near Crested Butte show a very high acid level
