Description

Installation of three 10-meter deep monitoring wells along a hillslope transect equipped with suction lysimeters, pressure transducers, and temperature sensors for long-term subsurface monitoring. Wells enable collection of pore water samples and continuous measurement of water table fluctuations.

Typical Equipment

  • track-mounted drill rig
  • ODEX drilling bit
  • suction lysimeters
  • pressure transducers
  • AquaTROLL 200
  • temperature sensors

Output Measurements

  • water table depth
  • pore water chemistry
  • subsurface temperature
