Description
Vegetation composition and diversity are compared between paired 1m² plots with and without Castilleja presence to assess community-level effects of parasitism. Plots are positioned as close as possible while maintaining treatment differences.
Typical Equipment
- measuring tape
- transect markers
- 1m x 1m quadrat frames
- plot markers
- field guides
- hand lenses
- data sheets
