Summary

It has also been mentioned that more dust retardant be used on the roads. Last year when this substance was used on the Tincup Road, the procedure resulted in a terrible waste of money, in my opinion. We had so much rain that the road was extremely slick and that awful, gooey, sticky mud covered my vehicle. That combined with the many pot holes which could very well knock your front end out of alignment. Something that is of a great concern to me regarding the dust retardant is whether or not research has been done to determine what this chemical does to our water quality and the water life as it washes off the roads and runs into our streams, and the possible effect of the water used for human consumption. Please advise. It is my plea to you to reject the Taylor Park Loop proposal as it is currently written. Once again, I commend the board for having the insight to request public comment regarding this project and the many other projects which have been quite overwhelming in number as of late. Respectfully Submitted, Gerald Lain
