Hillslope subsurface flow and transport data for the PLM transect in East River, Colorado.
Description
This file contains data used to calculate subsurface flow and transport at the Pumphouse Lower Montane (PLM) hillslope transect. Information includes locations, weather data, hydraulic conductivities, hydraulic head profiles, soil water profiles, depths to the water table, specific conductance (SC) and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in pore waters, water isotopic composition, calculated subsurface fluxes, calculated subsurface transport concentrations for SC and DOC, East River discharge and SC, transect soil particle-size distributions, and moisture characteristic curves. Files were updated on 2019-12-03: Figure 7 now includes data on the hydraulic gradient (data added in column N of the sheet for Fig. 7). There is a new Figure 14 that shows impacts of assigning different hydraulic conductivities to the soil and weathering zone. The old Figure 14 is now Figure 15. In the supporting Information, Figures S3 is added (on pressure responses of samplers) and S4 (on water table depth relations with hydraulic gradients and transmissivity fluxes. Revised Supporting Information is now attached.
