Description

These are the US Forest Service designated districts for the Gunnison County area. This dataset was created in 2015 by Rocky Mountain Biological Lab GIS off documents and legal boundaries from the USFS. These districts are broken into 4 different districts: West Zone/Aspen Ranger District (White River National Forest), West Zone/Sopris Ranger District (White River National Forest), Paonia Ranger District (Gunnison National Forest), Gunnison Ranger District (Gunnison-Uncompahgre National Forest). The data download link goes to the shapefile data format, though this data is available for download off the ArcGIS Online site as a KML, File Geodatabase, and GeoJson file types.
